The new 2009 edition of “Guinness Book of World Records” will feature a listing for Sir Paul McCartney. Macca is listed as the “Most Successful Songwriter of All Time”, with 188 Top 40 hits, 91 of those making the Top 10, and 33 Number 1 hits. The new edition of the book comes out on Sept. 17. YEAH, PAUL!!!!!!!

Sir Paul McCartney has slammed claims that the late John Lennon was gay and wanted to have a relationship with him. In a new biography, John Lennon: The Life, author Philip Norman suggests that former Beatles bandmate lusted for Macca. Paul explained:
“I don’t think (the gay claims) are true. John never ever tried anything, I slept with him a million times. I’ve seen him on tour roaring drunk, out of his mind in the early days before he sobered up and went to rehab. Roaring drunk and it was always with a female. If you’ve got a little gay tendency and your roaring drunk I’d have caught him once.”
Norman probably hopes to make a few bucks off of that claim. If anyone would know if John Lennon wanted Paul McCartney in a romantic way, it would be Macca himself, right?

An Islamist militant has sent out an ominous warning to Paul McCartney…he will have “sacrifice operatives” waiting for him if he plays a scheduled concert in Israel later this month. The militant leader stated that Macca has become the “enemy of every muslim”. He also said:
“Thus Paul McCartney is the enemy of every Muslim. We have what we call ‘sacrifice’ operatives who will not stand by while he joins in a celebration of their oppression.
“If he values his life Mr McCartney must not come to Israel. He will not be safe there. The sacrifice operatives will be waiting for him.”
Paul has already said that he will not bow to any threats.
I’m sorry, but this all sounds very scary. Let’s hope that everyone concerned with this concert is safe and protected from any and all danger.

Heather Mills has put her $6.4 million mansion, which is located in East Sussex, England, on the market. Now here’s the kicker…she is refusing to sell the property to her ex-husband, Sir Paul McCartney, who has offered to buy it because the couple’s four year old daughter, Beatrice, enjoys spending time there. Nice, eh? A source has told British newspaper The People:
“Heather put it on the market three weeks ago but she didn’t initially let Paul know what she was planning. When he found out, he offered to buy it off her, because Bea loves it there.
“But she was having none of it and said, ‘You’re trying to take my house’. Heather was furious. Heather knows Paul is just trying to be nice. But it seems she won’t sell it out of spite.”
What a bitch! She knows her daughter loves it there, yet she won’t sell it to Paul out of spite. Well I guess we can add “spitefullness” to the list of Mills’s endearing qualities. Shame on her…again!!

Paul McCartney has promised his Israeli fans that he will go on with his Sept. 25 concert in Tel Aviv, in spite of orders from pro-Palestinian groups to cancel. Macca said in an interview,
“I was approached by different groups and political bodies who asked me not to come here. I refused. I do what I think, and I have many friends who support Israel.”
In 1965, the Beatles’ concert in Israel was canceled when the Israeli government thought the band would corrupt the young people of Israel.

Rumors are flying like crazy amid reports that Paul McCartney is getting ready to propose to his girlfriend Nancy Shevell. Ms. Shevell is close to finalizing her divorce, and reports are that Macca will pop the question once that is out of the way. Chicago Sun-Times newspaper columnist Bill Zwecker reports:
‘It looks like the romance between Paul McCartney and wealthy New York socialite Nancy Shevell may be on the verge of moving up a notch. A source very close to the Beatles legend tells me Shevell may finally have worked out details of her divorce.
‘When that happens, Sir Paul is expected to announce his engagement to his lady love - who would become his third wife.’
The couple have been dating since November.

This past week-end, my favourite Beatle, Paul McCartney was spotted dining on Long Island with gal pal Nancy Shevell. The cozy twosome nuzzled with each other over a romantic candlelight dinner at tres chic Japanese restaurant Bamboo in the snazzy Hamptons. Nancy was practically sitting on his lap throughout the meal. Can you blame the woman?
Paul really is hanging out alot more lately in and around New York City to be closer to his love. I’ve gotta say that Nancy Shevell is one lucky woman!

It seems as though Sir Paul McCartney and his girlfriend Nancy Shevell are getting serious as Paul is allegedly taking steps to be closer to her. Macca is said to be on the hunt for an apartment his hunt for an apartment by Nancy’s New York home in the Upper East Side.
As mentioned before, the gold-digger moved into the West Village already so it’s no surprise that he doesn’t want to live next door to Heather Mills.
A source told New York Post:
“He’s been looking at eight-figure apartments. I think he just wants to rid himself of the Heather factor.”
No one can blame Paul!
