Ronnie Wood has been spotted living his life as usual since his release from rehab. Just the other day he was seen having dinner in a London restaurant with his Russian girlfriend, Ekaterina Ivanova, who was cited as a “player” in the break-up of his marriage to wife Jo.

The couple spent over two hours at the restaurant, and seemed very much “into” each other. A source said:

“They looked like a couple deeply in love. Ronnie couldn’t take his eyes off her.

“They were very touchy feely. It all looked very sweet but Ronnie does look like her granddad.

I hope Ronnie Wood feels it was all worth it.  When his impending divorce comes to court, and with the looks of things it seems like it’s imminent, he is gonna have to shell out BIG TIME to his wife Jo Wood.

Lately, Jo has been seeking advice of divorce lawyers since she became wrangled over recent pics of her hubby Ronnie dining out with his girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova at a posh London restaurant last week.  Jo is said to be

“humiliated, spurned and furious that her best friend has treated her like that.”

Her legal team has informed Jo that she’s in a great position to take Ronnie to the cleaners, so to speak.   She has been an integral part of Ronnie’s career, acting in various position throughout the years to assist him as he rose to fame.  Among her many duties, she acted as Ronnie’s executive assistant,  she acted as his personal management assistant on some might profitable business deals, she’s company secretary for his painting business Scream Art and she also was joint director of his musical empire Rockyarch.    Phheeww!!

I’d say that without Jo, Ronnie might never have been as lucky in the business as he was.  That woman deserves every penny she’s entitled to, and then some.  If this marriage does end up in divorce,  it looks like Jo will receive more of a payout from Ronnie than Heather Mills received from Paul McCartney.  Right now,  Paul’s $50 million payout seems like small potatoes compared to the $129.5 million payout that Jo is entitled to receive.   She could also get 20 percent of Ronnie’s earnings, due to the fact that she was his employee for all those years.  What a smart woman!  You go, girl!

Mick Jagger’s little girl, Georgia Jagger, has been spotted recently at London’s Fashion Week partying like crazy and much to big daddy Mick’s chagrin, smoking her brains out.

She’s been seen puffing away on a whole pack of ciggies in no time, and this child is but a mere 16!  She and her younger sister Lizzie Jagger and their girlfriends have been making the party circuit for more than a week now in and around London.

Georgia was slated to make her catwalk debut during Fashion Week, but so far that’s a no-go.   Maybe her nerves have gotten the better of her and she’s taken to the smokes to calm herself.  Who’s to know, but I think her parents Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall need to talk to her about her disgusting habit.

Jo Wood is one happy lady these days, and who can blame her?  She’s finally rid of woodpecker look-alike rocker hubby Ronnie Wood, who’s run off to shack up with his teen-age gal pal Ekaterina Ivanova.  She says that she’s happier on her own, and has her family and friends to love her.

She told Britain’s The Sun newspaper…

“I’m loving it. I’m enjoying my new freedom. I’m a lucky woman. I’ve got so much love and support. I don’t have to put a brave face on. I’ve got my kids that love me, my family and my friends.”

Good for you, Jo!  She sounds like such a lovely, normal woman…why the hell should she have to put up with the shit that Ronnie dishes out?  If I were Jo, I’d change all the locks and pronto.

Rolling Stone Mick Jagger has been busy the past few days .  Mick had been invited to be a part of a business panel meeting in Brussels, Belgium.  The subject was the need to find way to simplify online retailing for EU shoppers, especially concerning music downloads.   Apparently, Europeans wishing to purchase music online face a complicated and sometimes difficult process filled with numerous rules and regulations.  The panel will compile a report for the competition commission and the comission will use the findings to improve online retailing for the European Union.

Well, what do they have in common, you ask?  Seems that Eva Mendes, who stars in the new movie “The Women” has a crush on Sir Mick Jagger, that’s what!  Did’ja know that the Mickster is one of the producers of this new flick?  I did not know that!  Anyway, where was I… oh yeah, about 4 years ago, Eva and Mick got on the same elevator together at a hotel in France.  When Mick got off and Eva stayed on, she said…

“I literally collapsed when he got out a floor later. He’s delicious, he still looks really good.”

They met a second time a while later, and Mick actually remembered Eva from that elevator.  Eva sez…

“He’s never going to remember me,’ so I just say: ‘Hi, I’m Eva, nice to meet you,’ and he says: ‘Oh, I think we met in Paris.’  “I screamed: ‘Oh my God, you remember me?’ The whole facade falls and I was a complete geek.”

That’s nice to know that even a woman like Eva Mendes falls apart when she gets up close and personal with a rock superstar, isn’t it?   There’s hope for us all, ladies!

An official Rolling Stones fans website has taken a poll and voted the one and only Mr. Keith Richards, Stones guitarist extraordinaire, their favorite Rolling Stone.  He even beat out Mick Jagger for the #1 spot!  The Mickster garnered a puny 28% while our Keef racked up the votes with 50%.  I’d cast my vote for Keith anyday, anyway!  The top album of The Stones voted was Exile On Main Street while Gimme Shelter won top prize for fans pick of fav song.   I know it’s not very scientific, but it’s still kind of fun to hear what fans are thinking these days, as the Stones keep rollin’ on.

The now legendary lip and tongue logo for The Rolling Stones has been sold to the Victoria and Albert Museum in London for $92,000.  The man responsible for this piece of artistic brilliance, John Pasche, was originally paid only $90 for his work, but he went ahead and sold it recently at an auction in the US for $92,000.

Back in 1970 while still a student in art school, artist John Pache tells how he was inspired to design the Stones logo…

“I wanted something anti-authority, but I suppose the mouth idea came from when I met (Mick) Jagger for the first time at the Stones’ offices. I went into this sort of wood-paneled boardroom and there he was. Face to face with him, the first thing you were aware of was the size of his lips and his mouth.”

John goes on to explain that originally, Mick Jagger had wanted to use an image of Hindu goddess Kali as their logo.  That idea was nixed when John realized that even though India was very much in fashion at the time, it might just be a passing fad and out of style soon.

The new logo made its debut with the release of the Stones single Brown Sugar and the album it appeared on, Sticky Fingers.  Ahhhh, I remember that so vividly.   Still going strong today, the red tongue and lips logo is known around the world….take one look and it screams THE ROLLING STONES!!

It has been reported that Ronnie Wood, who was recently released from rehab for treatment of his various addictions, has set up house with his Russian lover, and has even sprung for a giant new bed for the two of them. Isn’t that exciting and wonderful??? Despite all this nonsense, Wood’s wife Jo insisits that they will be able to repair their marriage. Is she crazy?

A source said:

“Jo and Ronnie have been talking a lot, but he can’t quite quit Ekaterina. The fact he was prepared to meet her in secret is proof of that.

“She knows he is still seeing Ekaterina but believes this proves he still needs help and that this is part of his illness, as well as part of his recovery.”

The source also said:

“Jo is incredibly strong. She is waiting for Ronnie to complete his rehab process before she makes any firm decisions.”

I think that all parties involved in this mess need to have their collective heads examined. They’re all nuts.

I know you’re all probably wondering what’s been going on lately with our favourite woodpecker-y musician, Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood.  Well sit tight kiddies, and I’ll tell you!  After leaving the addiction treament facility in Surrey, England that he’s been a patient at, he was invited by his pal, Who guitarist Pete Townshend, to live with him at his mansion near London.  Pete took pity on Ronnie and wanted to help shield him from all sorts of unwanted attention from the British press.   So this is what friends are for, eh?  I sure hope Ronnie can strike out on his own soon and start acting like a grown man instead of a confused, f*cked up teen-ager.
