The love bug has definitely bitten Sir Paul McCartney in a very big way. Reports are rampant that the icon will pop the question any time now to his lady love and constant companion, heiress Nancy Shevell, but it seems that Paul’s children are against the idea, horror of horrors! Daughters Stella and Mary, and son James, are supposedly dead-set against the idea of their famous father marrying for the foreseeable future, mainly because of the hell that gold-digger ex-wife Heather Mills put him through during their recent divorce proceedings.

Paul and Nancy were spotted recently sailing off the coast of New York’s Long Island on his dinghy, named after his first wife, Linda.

I predict that Paul will tell the kids to stick it and do what he damn well pleases. As we all know, he is not one to be without female companionship. He definitely is the marrying kind.
