It has been reported that Robert Plant has agreed to join Led Zeppelin on their much-anticipated, on-again, off-again, reunion tour. Apparently, the fact that the other members of the band rehearsed with stand in singers and were pretty much determined to hit the road with or without Plant, was the straw that broke the camel’s back and persuaded him to return to the band. A source close to Led Zeppelin said:

“The rest of the band had all but given up on Robert joining them, but they were determined to go ahead and had started to seriously explore other avenues.

“When Robert realised the band were serious about doing it without him, he realised he couldn’t face the thought of not being involved.”

All I can say is, we’ll see.
