Led Zeppelin To Regroup For London’s 2012 Olympics?

September 4th, 2008

Robert Plant

Following on the heels of a performance by Jimmy Page and Leona Lewis at this year’s closing ceremonies of the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing, China,  there is some speculation that Led Zeppelin may reform and play during the London games, to be held in 2012.  Jimmy was recently asked if he/they would play at the next summer Olympics and he replied…

“If they asked, it would be an honour”.

Sounds promising, but I hate to have to wait until 2012 to see Led Zeppelin.  I guess absence makes the heart grow fonder, but this is ridiculous!
