Hand Wringing In The Paul McCartney Household

September 17th, 2008

There’s a bit of uneasiness in the world of Paul McCartney’s family these days.  It’s all due to the impending trip to Israel that Paul is about to undertake.  As written before here on BlogMeanies, Paul is scheduled to play in Tel Aviv on September 25.  There have been threats to Paul’s life from militant Muslim extremists and that in turn, has caused the McCartney clan to express their fears for dear old dad.   Can you blame them?   I’m worried sick about him going there too!   A source tells the British newspaper Daily Express that Stella McCartney, Mary McCartney, James McCartney and Heather McCartney are…

“racked with worry. Paul’s family knows that he’s not the type to back down but that doesn’t stop them being extremely worried about him.”

“It’s his kids who would prefer him not to do they show but they also accept that their dad will do what he believes to be right and won’t be scared off.”

I love Paul for not backing down.   It shows he has character and strength and he is never one to look adversity in the face and run the other way.  The man has been through so much in his life and I suppose he’s looking at this development as another chapter in his interesting life.

Backing down is letting the terrorists win.

Nothing will happen. He will perform in Israel and it will be an amazing show. I promise to report back!!! The show is in 8 days from today! Yeah!

This is not just a test for Paul, but the entire Western world. If Paul or others begin to cave to this intimidation, we are finished as a culture, doomed to suffer under Islamist fascism.

In one sense, it’s a choice for all of us - do we allow our governments to give in to islamist extortion out of fear of violence? We must not!

Let’s all follow Paul’s lead! I hope his next album reflects this event!!
