Pink Floyd will be the subject of their very own themed cruise, even though no members of the band will actually be on board. The Carnival cruise ship will sail from the port of Miami to the Bahamas on May 1, 2009. Over the course of the three night cruise, fans will be treated to Pink Floyd games, trivia, parties “special guests” and to shows by the Pink Floyd cover band “Think Floyd USA”, including a full performance of Dark Side of the Moon. Now this cover band isn’t just any cover band. They have supposedly opened for Roger Waters and have received “personal acclaim” from David Gilmour himself.

This sounds like it could be interesting, but is there enough Pink Floyd “stuff” to keep people entertained for three days?
