Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page To Perform In Olympics Closing Ceremony
August 15th, 2008Great news for Led Zeppelin fans, Jimmy Page will take part in the closing ceremony of the 2008 Summer Games in Beijing on Sunday August 24. He will perform with British pop sensation Leona Lewis.
Since London is set to host the 2012 Summer Games, Jimmy Page and Leona Lewis were selected to represent their country.
I’m loving every minute of the Olympics (except Beach Volleyball), but I can’t wait for the closing ceremonies. If it’s anything like the opening ceremony, it should be spectacular.
