In My Life Named Favourite Beatles Song

The people of Liverpool have voted, and the results are in…In My Life is their hands down favorite Beatles song. Hey Jude came in at number two, followed by Penny Lane third, and All You Need Is Love and Yesterday tying for fourth.
I find it very curious that out of the gazillions of songs by the Fab Four, these particular ones have been chosen. This Blog Meanie happens to absolutely love In My Life, but I wouldn’t miss the others, especially the over-played, over-performed, and just plain boring Hey Jude, if I never heard them again. Having been to Liverpool several times, I’m very fond of the people in that great city, but what were they thinking when they voted these songs as their top picks? Just a matter of opinion, I suppose, but I am baffled by this one!

Hello Blog Meanies
I am a Beatles fan too.
My favorite was John Lennon. I loved his words. His peace.
And then it was George Harrison.
I miss them both so much and wonder if they would have had more of an input on out world if they had lived longer.
I watched Ringo the other night and was amazed at how much I felt that he had changed.
I think he got sexier with age.
Please come and visit me sometime.
