Well folks, today is the day. It’s finally here, the first ever Beatles Day! For the last few weeks this BlogMeanie has been posting about the goings-on in Liverpool to get ready for the big day and at last, it is upon us. Beatles tribute bands will be playing across the city, The Quarrymen, Gerry Marsden and some others from the early days will be performing at a concert tonight and…this is my favourite part…the citizens of Liddypool will be encouraged to wear their Beatles Mop Top Wigs that have been on sale throughout the city for the last few weeks. If I can get my hands on a piccie of what some of those adorable people look like with their wigs, you can be sure I’ll post it here. Stay tuned, and Happy First Beatles Day!
