Zak Starkey is through with Oasis

May 12th, 2008

Seems as though Ringo Starr’s son Zak Starkey, who’s been drumming for the last little while for Oasis, is now out of the band. A few tiffs with the tense frontman of Oasis, Noel Gallagher, was all it took to lead to Zak’s demise with the band. Not much of a surprise, is it? Those Gallaghers are known for being pr*cks and I guess it was Zak’s turn to feel the wrath.

I hope he finds another gig soon. Good luck to you, Zak! Maybe he can play for his dad?

He can always play for The Who…They did offer him to join permanently but he turned it down to focus on Oasis. But now i suppose hes out of that he will stick to The Who which I think personally it suits him more than oasis. =]
