Custodian of John Lennon’s Childhood Home Wins Award
May 16th, 2008
Colin Hall, the man who tends to the care and upkeep of Mendips, John Lennon’s childhood home in Liverpool, has won a radio award. Mr. Hall researched information for the radio show “The Day John Met Paul”. The DJ who wrote this show, Bob Harris, got inspired after visiting Mendips in 2006. Mr. Hall’s extensive research and interviews with Paul McCartney and The Quarrymen helped him to achieve this honor.
This must’ve been such an awesome project to work on! Congratulations go out to Colin.

Hi there Blog Meanies,
Thanks for the kind words about my contribution to the award winning ‘Day John Met Paul’. It was a terrific project with which to be involved and I’m hoping that there may be more to come. I’m a lucky man!
John Lennon was a special person and Mendips is a special place and I love my work there. Every day is different and every day I am touched and enthused by the energy and good will visitors bring to the house for John. Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to visit.
Love, light and peace,
Colin Hall
